Claire Helm Consulting (CHC) is run by Claire Helm and Laura Kirwan, experienced Directors who saw a gap in the market for strategic sales and marketing support. Our talented team includes trusted partners from numerous disciplines including design, print, data, email, photography, web and more. For each project we handpick the right team, delivering results – on time and within budget.

Claire is a dynamic, passionate and energetic sales and marketing professional with extensive experience in business development, marketing communications and people management. Before establishing CHC, Claire held a number of Sales and Marketing Director positions. Most recently at Taylor O’Brien and prior to this With (now called WRG), both creative agencies based in Manchester. Before With, Claire was Sales and Marketing Director at CragRats, an education and training communications company. Claire has worked across the private and public sectors with clients as diverse as Mouchel Plc, ASDA, 3i, British Energy, Lloyds TSB, MACE, Scottish Water, Equifax, A4e, New Economy, the Learning and Skills Council, County Councils, The Audit Commission, and has been responsible for securing revenues of £1.9m annually.
Laura Kirwan
DipM MCIM BA Hons (Chartered), Consultant Marketing Director
Laura is passionate about marketing. She is a Chartered Marketer with 12 years’ experience in senior marketing management roles most recently as Marketing Director at CragRats. Before CragRats she held marketing management roles at Kainos (a CRM Consultancy), Datamonitor and Reuters (both global information consultancies). She specialises in helping CHC’s clients with strategic marketing, identifying the best solution and managing marketing communication projects to achieve results. She has pitched and won numerous marketing projects for clients as diverse as BT, BAE Systems and Nottingham City Homes. Educated to postgraduate level with the Chartered Institute of Marketing is also an SME Ambassador for Mid Yorkshire.
